Mel Gibson was arrested on July 28, 2006 for driving drunk. He continued to make highly offensive remarks directed towards the Jewish community. He is now getting help threw treatment, but has not checked into a facility. He made a formal apology to the Jewish community. Many say this will affect his career in the future, but about 58% of the people voted that they are still fans in a CNN poll. There are rumors that his new movie, "Apocalypto" will eventually get dropped or pushed back. All we can do is wait to see how things will turn up for Mel.

I picked this article because Mel Gibson is kind of crazy, and I think it’s funny. What I didn’t find funny was his movie “The Passion”. I actually thought it was pretty terrible.

Hey, my name is Kate. I’m seventeen, and have two sisters, and one brother. I like to hangout, listen to music, and play video games in my spare time. My favorite games are Zelda (all of them), God of War, Ninja Gaiden, and Resident Evil IV, plus the classics like Mario. Music completes me. I like classic rock, alternative, techno (mainly drum and bass), reggae, and industrial. In all actuality I can listen to anything that isn’t rap, hip-hop, R&B, and country. That’s because none of that requires any real talent. I guess country does a little, but it is pushing it. I like watching movies although I only find about 5% of the movies made today actually worth watching. I don’t get into the new age horror films at all. I have a fascination with Ninja’s and my life goal is to become the best Ninja EVER! I really like to play the drums. I have been playing since I was like ten, but not as often in the last year or so. I am a fairly good artist. I focus on drawing people mainly. I like to consider myself a relaxed person who’s easy to get along with.
